Când echipa de ingineri de la ASRock are prea mult timp liber începe să se preocupe de lucruri interesante. Ultima realizare a acestora merită cu prisosinţă atenţia noastră, bătrânul socket 939 şi procesoarele acestuia (Athlon 64 sau Sempron 64) primind cadou în plină eră AM3 placa de bază ASRock 939A785GM/128M cu chipset AMD 785 / SB710.
Realizată în format Micro-ATX cu dimensiunile de 24.4 cm x 21.8 cm placa dispune de toate facilităţile şi dotările de care este capabil chipset-ul AMD 785, mai puţin suportul pentru memorii DDR3/DDR2, procesoarele pentru socket 939 nefiind înzestrate cu această posibilitate. Sunt suportate însă memoriile DDR 400.
